A.K.C. TerriersA.K.C. Breeder of MeritKeefer Farms is a small home-bred kennel in Northern California. We are located in Chico, CA about 90 minutes north of Sacramento. We have been involved with AKC dogs for over 30 years, and with JRT/Parson Russell Terriers for many years. You will see from the "Our Girls" Page that Foxy is the foundation of Keefer Farms and she has left a gorgeous mark. Keefer Farms' main interests are conformation, but after that we feel it essential to move on to other avenues, which we do including Earthdog Tests, obedience, rally obedience and agility when we can, and of most priority natural hunting when we can. Our goal is to breed as genetically correct a Parson Russell as we can. Genetic testing is critical to our breed and we BAER Test all our dogs and CERF Test all our dogs once a year, and keep accurate records reflecting the tracking of our Keefer Farms dogs.
